Elizabeth is a highly acclaimed landscape photographer who has been working in the industry for over 10 years. Inexorably drawn to the urban environment, her images are often heavily centred around shape and texture.
More often than not, Elizabeth’s award winning creative photography has been snapped in far-off, exotic lands as she embraces her other great passion – world exploration.
From the photographer:
“He heard her in his heart – whispering from the mist”- John Geddes
The Canadian mountain landscape truly captivates me. The ethereal sight of mist-cladpines jutting out from the rocky mountainside draw me and my camera every time I visit.
Early one morning I rose before anyone else and went out to explore the lake in the brisk winter air. We were staying in Nelson in the heart of Canada’s British Columbia. The mountains that framed the lake were partially obscured by the morning mist, which gave them a dramatic, haunting quality.
This print is part of a series taken towards the end of winter while journeying through Alberta and British Colombia. I travelled along the Powder Highway and right through the heart of the Rocky Mountains in search of great images and fresh snow to ski. I found both with little effort.
