Each print is printed by local Melbourne printers and framers with over 20 years experience in the business.
They take great care and pride with every print that is produced as they know they are going to be enjoyed in people’s homes for many years to come.
THE ART PRINT
Our art prints are ‘Pigment on Rag/cotton’ or ‘Giclee Prints’. These high-quality, museum-grade cotton papers are not mass produced and in some cases handmade. So each print has a unique character.
THE MAT BOARDS + FRAMES
The mat board is the flat paper-based material included within the picture frame. One Fine Prints are all framed with extra large matt boards for aesthetic reasons but also because the mat board seperates the print from the glass. This is particularly important conservatively incase any condensation develops on the inside of the glass. This could then be transferred to the print if they were not separated with a mat board, resulting in water damage, mold or mildew.
The prints are then framed in custom made black timber or raw timber tasmanian oak frames. Frames are made in Australia using plantation wood and are conservatory framed meaning archival practices are used so as your prints will be well preserved for you to enjoy for a really long time!
